Turmeric (Curcuma longa) has been used for 4,000 years to treat a variety of conditions. Studies show that turmeric may help fight infections and some cancers, reduce inflammation, and treat digestive problems, and it has gotten a lot of press lately.

But remember several facts when you hear news reports about turmeric. First, many studies have taken place in test tubes and animals, and turmeric may not work as well in humans. Second, some studies have used an injectable form of curcumin, the active substance in turmeric. Finally, some of the studies show conflicting evidence.

Turmeric is widely used in cooking and gives Indian curry its flavor and yellow color. It is also used in mustard and to color butter and cheese. Turmeric has been used in both Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine as an anti-inflammatory, to treat digestive and liver problems, skin diseases, and wounds.

Curcumin is also a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants scavenge molecules in the body known as free radicals, which damage cell membranes, tamper with DNA, and even cause cell death. Antioxidants can fight free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause.

In addition, curcumin lowers the levels of two enzymes in the body that cause inflammation. It also stops platelets from clumping together to form blood clots.

Research suggests that turmeric may be helpful for the following conditions:

Indigestion or Dyspepsia

Curcumin stimulates the gallbladder to produce bile, which some people think may help improve digestion. The German Commission E, which determines which herbs can be safely prescribed in Germany, has approved turmeric for digestive problems. And one double-blind, placebo-controlled study found that turmeric reduced symptoms of bloating and gas in people suffering from indigestion.

Ulcerative colitis

Turmeric may help people with ulcerative colitis stay in remission. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic disease of the digestive tract where symptoms tend to come and go. In one double-blind, placebo-controlled study, people whose ulcerative colitis was in remission took either curcumin or placebo, along with conventional medical treatment, for 6 months. Those who took curcumin had a relapse rate much lower than those who took placebo.

Stomach Ulcers

Turmeric does not seem to help treat stomach ulcers. In fact, there is some evidence that it may increase stomach acid, making existing ulcers worse. (See "Precautions" section.)

Osteoarthritis

Because of its ability to reduce inflammation, researchers have wondered if turmeric may help relieve osteoarthritis pain. One study found that people using an Ayurvedic formula of herbs and minerals with turmeric, winter cherry (Withinia somnifera), boswellia (Boswellia serrata), and zinc had less pain and disability. But it' s impossible to know whether it was turmeric or one of the other supplements — or all of them together — that was responsible.

Heart Disease

Early studies suggested that turmeric may help prevent atherosclerosis, the buildup of plaque that can block arteries and lead to heart attack or stroke. In animal studies, an extract of turmeric lowered cholesterol levels and kept LDL "bad" cholesterol from building up in blood vessels. Because it stops platelets from clumping together, turmeric may also prevent blood clots from building up along the walls of arteries. But a double-blind, placebo-controlled study found that taking curcumin, the active ingredient in turrmeric, at a dose of up to 4 g per day did not improve cholesterol levels.

Cancer

There has been a great deal of research on turmeric's anti-cancer properties, but results are still very early. Evidence from test tube and animal studies suggests that curcumin may help prevent or treat several types of cancers, including prostate, breast, skin, and colon cancer. Its preventive effects may be because it is a strong antioxidant, protecting cells from damage. More research is needed. Cancer should be treated with conventional medications. Don' t use alternative therapies alone to treat cancer. If you choose to use complementary therapies along with your cancer treatment, make sure you tell all your doctors.

Bacterial and Viral Infections

Test tube and animal studies suggest turmeric may kill bacteria and viruses. But researchers don' t know whether it would work in people.

Uveitis

A preliminary study suggests curcumin may help treat uveitis, an inflammation of the eye' s iris. In one study of 32 people with chronic anterior uveitis, curcumin was effective as corticosteroids, the type of medication usually prescribed. More research is needed.
Plant Description:

A relative of ginger, turmeric is a perennial plant that grows 5 – 6 feet high in the tropical regions of Southern Asia, with trumpet-shaped, dull yellow flowers. Its roots are bulbs that also produce rhizomes, which then produce stems and roots for new plants. Turmeric is fragrant and has a bitter, somewhat sharp taste. Although it grows in many tropical locations, the majority of turmeric is grown in India, where it is used as a main ingredient in curry.
Parts Used:

The roots, or rhizomes and bulbs, are used in medicine and food. They are generally boiled and then dried, turning into the familiar yellow powder. Curcumin, the active ingredient, has antioxidant properties. Other substances in this herb have antioxidant properties as well.

Turmeric is available in the following forms:

Capsules containing powder
Fluid extract
Tincture

Because bromelain increases the absorption and anti-inflammatory effects of curcumin, it is often combined with turmeric products.
How to Take It:

Pediatric

Turmeric supplements haven' t been studied in children, so there is no recommended dose.

Adult

The following are doses recommended for adults:

Cut root: 1.5 – 3 g per day
Dried, powdered root: 1 – 3 g per day
Standardized powder (curcumin): 400 – 600 mg, 3 times per day
Fluid extract (1:1) 30 – 90 drops a day
Tincture (1:2): 15 – 30 drops, 4 times per day

Precautions:

The use of herbs is a time-honored approach to strengthening the body and treating disease. Herbs, however, can trigger side effects and may interact with other herbs, supplements, or medications. For these reasons, you should take herbs with care, under the supervision of a health care provider.

Turmeric in food is considered safe.

Turmeric and curcumin supplements are considered safe when taken at the recommended doses. However, taking large amounts of turmeric for long periods of time may cause stomach upset and, in extreme cases, ulcers. People who have gallstones or obstruction of the bile passages should talk to their doctor before taking turmeric.

If you have diabetes, talk to your doctor before taking turmeric supplements. Turmeric may lower blood sugar levels, and when combined with medications for diabetes could cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

Although it is safe to eat foods with turmeric, pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take turmeric supplements.

Because turmeric may act like a blood-thinner, you should stop taking it at least 2 weeks before surgery. Tell your doctor and surgeon that you have been taking turmeric.
Possible Interactions:

If you are being treated with any of the following medications, you should not use turmeric or curcumin in medicinal forms without first talking to your health care provider.

Blood-thinning Medications — Turmeric may make the effects of these drugs stronger, raising the risk of bleeding. Blood-thinners include warfarin (Coumadin), clopidogrel (Plavix), and aspirin, among others.

Drugs that reduce stomach acid — Turmeric may interfere with the action of these drugs, increasing the production of stomach acid:

Cimetidine (Tagamet)
Famotidine (Pepcid)
Ranitidine (Zantac)
Esomeprazole (Nexium)
Omeprazole
Lansoprazole (Prevacid)

Diabetes Medications — Turmeric may make the effects of these drugs stronger, increasing the risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

Acidulus Enviroment – Free Radicals

Acidulous comes from Acid. It is also called acidic.

There are three states of acidity. pH (from potential of Hydrogen) is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. Neutral (PH=7), Acidic (pH>7) and alkaline (pH<7) are these states.

It is a kind of norm which helps us to measure how “rusty” we are.

The pH value in a body is 7.35 to 7.45 which is slightly alkaline and that on the skin is 4.5 to 5.8 which is slightly acidic.

But what are free radicals?
When a molecule (a molecule consists of a number of atoms) or an atom loses (no matter how) an electron (electrons are round the atom’s nucleus and they always come in pairs) it becomes unstable. That is highly reactive and it is called “free radical“. The electron which is left alone needs to find another electron for the atom or molecule to become stable again.
Free radicals pick up electrons from other atoms and converts those other atoms into secondary free radicals and so on. This chain reaction can cause substantial biological damage and it is said to cause or to be determinant to many chronic diseases.
The combination of free radicals and heavy metals multiply the toxicity!
Symptoms that can make suspicious.
Symptoms due to acidulous environment can vary. Frequent Colds, Bronchitis, Infections, Headaches, skin abnormalities, Allergies, Chronic Fatigue, often Cramps, Law Energy can be some of them. Some of these symptoms are not always obvious but be sure that even if you don’t have one of the above acidic substances are everywhere and the best thing you can do is begin taking measures.


How exactly acidic environment harm?
After digesting the foods we eat there is a remain (characterized as “ash”) which is acidic, alkaline or neutral. When it is acidic and the acidity balance is disturbed then a number of serious illnesses may be caused. Usually people with MS have acidosis. The higher the ratio of alkaline elements in the diet, the faster will be the recovery. Alkalis neutralize the acids. Therefore in the treatment of most diseases it is important that the patient’s diet includes plenty of alkaline-ash foods to offset the effects of acid-forming foods and leave a safe margin of alkalinity.
What can I do?
You should be in a continuous effort of discarding free radicals.
The most important many people don’t know is drinking alkaline water! This is very very important to help your organism’s defense and provide an alkaline reserve in steady basis.

Antioxidant foods have basically an excess of electrons which can be offered in order to, let’s say, keep free radicals “busy” so that they don’t harm your healthy tissues. Foods rich in natural antioxidants are tomatoes, Spinach, Broccoli, Grapefruit, Cauliflower, Kiwi fruit, peppers and others. Fruits that have a rich color are high in phytonutrients. These are probably the best-known natural antioxidant known to us. Blueberries, spinach, carrots, apricots, cantaloupe and mangoes are also natural storehouses of antioxidants.

Vegetable oils such as olive oil, soybean oil, safflower oil provide natural antioxidants. Including antioxidant food such as garlic, chicken, eggs, salmon, tuna can help in boosting your body’s defense mechanism.
Bioflavonoids are found in fruits and vegetables and sulphur containing amino acids are found in fish, nuts and lean meat. Higher consumption of such foods is known to maintain and boost immune functions.
Using vitamin C as referred  in Dr Klenner’s protocol in mega doses (at least 1,5 grams daily – you can go up to 20 grams if necessary) is crucial. Also vitamin E, Copper, Selenium and Zinc are very important.
Other antioxidant enriching substances are green tea extract and flavonoids such as grape seed extract and red wine. Taking antioxidant supplements is not to create an artificial antioxidant defense system but instead to boost your body’s own enzymatic antioxidant defense system.

Searching through the internet you can find a list of food characterized as acidulous, alkaline or neutral. My opinion is not to follow all these to the letter. The key here is to have a balanced diet, the right ratio (about 4 part alkaline to 1 part acidic) which includes mostly alkaline foods (always according to your allergy/intolerance test – an alkaline food is not good for sure for everyone). REMEMBER THAT YOU DESPITE THE ADVANTAGES OR DISADVANTAGES YOU MAY FIND IN A FOOD OR SUBSTANCE YOU MAY BE ALLERGIC OR INTOLERANT TO IT!

Υπάρχουν τρεις καταστάσεις οξύτητας. Το pH (Πε-Χα από τα αρχικά της έννοιας δυναμικό Υδρογόνου στα Αγγλικά – Potential of Hydrogen) είναι ένα μέτρο της οξύτητας ή της αλκαλικότητας ενός διαλύμματος. Ουδέτερο (pH=7), Όξινο (pH<7) και Αλκαλικό (pH>7) είναι οι τρεις αυτές καταστάσεις.

Πρόκειται κατά κάποιο τρόπο για ένα μέτρο που δείχνει πόσο “σκουριασμένοι” είμαστε.

Η τιμή του pH εσωτερικά στο σώμα μας κυμαίνετι από 7.35 ως 7.45 σε φυσιολογικές συνθήκες που σημαίνει ότι μέσα μας υπάρχει ελαφρώς αλκαλικό περιβάλλον ενώ στο δέρμα η τιμή αυτή κυμαίνεται από 4.5 ως 5.8 δηλαδή έχουμε όξινο περιβάλλον.

Το όξινο περιβάλλον μέσα μας δημιουργείται από την υπερβολική παραγωγή ελευθέρων ριζών λόγω της περιβαλλοντικής μόλυνσης, κακής διατροφής, άγχους, καπνίσματος, αλκοόλ κα. Η παραγωγή ελευθέρων ριζών είναι κανονικά μια φυσιολογική δραστηριότητα. Οι ελεύθερες ρίζες χρησιμοποιούνται από το ανοσοποιητικό σύστημα του σώματος για να καταστρέψουν βακτηρίδια και ιούς που προκαλούν ζημίες. Όσο η διαδικασία αυτή ελέγχεται σωστά, είναι βασική για ένα υγιές σώμα. Γίνεται όμως καταστρεπτική και δημιουργεί πληθώρα θεμάτων που αφορούν την υγεία σε αντίθετη περίπτωση.

Παρακάτω ασκολουθεί άρθρο που εξηγεί με απλά λόγια τι είναι και πως λειτουργούν οι ελεύθερες ρίζες στον ανθρώπινο οργανισμό. Επίσης σύντομα αναδυκνείεται και ο αναντικτάστατος ρόλος των αντιοξειδωτικών που προτείνοντα και στη θεραπεία για τη ΣΚΠ μέσα από το πρωτόκολλο.

Οι ελεύθερες ρίζες είναι πολύ ασταθή μόρια , τα οποία αντιδρούν πολύ γρήγορα με άλλα μόρια, προσπαθώντας έτσι να πάρουν τα απαιτούμενα ηλεκτρόνια για να κερδίσουν την σταθερότητά τους, «κλέβοντας στην ουσία ηλεκτρόνια». Όταν το προσβαλλόμενο μόριο (από την ελεύθερη ρίζα) χάσει το ηλεκτρόνιό του, γίνεται κι αυτό ελεύθερη ρίζα, οπότε κι αυτό ξεκινά να ψάχνει να αντιδράσει με άλλο μόριο για να κερδίσει την σταθερότητά του. Άπαξ και η διαδικασία αυτή αρχίσει, παίρνει μορφή καταρράκτη, με τελικό αποτέλεσμα την ρήξη (βλάβη) του κυττάρου.

Μερικές ελεύθερες ρίζες ξεκινούν φυσιολογικά από τον μεταβολισμό. Μερικές φορές το ανοσολογικό μας σύστημα σκόπιμα δημιουργεί τις ελεύθερες ρίζες για να εξουδετερώσουν τους ιούς και τα βακτηρίδια. Ωστόσο περιβαλλοντικοί παράγοντες, όπως η μόλυνση, η ακτινοβολία, το κάπνισμα και τα ζιζανιοκτόνα μπορούν επίσης και γενούν ελεύθερες ρίζες.

Φυσιολογικά ο οργανισμός χειρίζεται τις ελεύθερες ρίζες, όμως αν δεν είναι διαθέσιμες αντιοξειδωτικές ουσίες ή αν η παραγωγή των ελεύθερων ριζών είναι μεγάλη, μπορεί να επέλθει βλάβη. Ακόμη μεγάλης σημασίας είναι το γεγονός ότι οι βλάβες από ελεύθερες ρίζες συσσωρεύονται με την ηλικία.

Η βιταμίνη C και Ε θεωρείται ότι προστατεύουν τον οργανισμό από τις βλαπτικές επιδράσεις των ελεύθερων ριζών οξυγόνου. Οι αντιοξειδωτικές ουσίες εξουδετερώνουν τις ελεύθερες ρίζες δίνοντας τα δικά τους ηλεκτρόνια, διακόπτοντας την αντίδραση κλοπής ηλεκτρονίων από τις ελεύθερες ρίζες. Οι ίδιες οι αντιοξειδωτικές ουσίες δεν γίνονται ελεύθερες ρίζες με την προσφορά των ηλεκτρονίων τους, επειδή είναι σταθερές και χωρίς τα ηλεκτρόνια αυτά. Αντιδρούν δηλαδή ως εκκαθαριστές (scavengers) βοηθώντας τα κύτταρα και τους ιστούς να μην υποστούν βλάβη και να μην οδηγηθούν σε κυτταρική βλάβη και νόσο. Η βιταμίνη Ε είναι η πλέον άφθονος λιποδιαλυτή βιταμίνη του οργανισμού και μία από τις πλέον αποτελεσματικές αντιοξειδωτικές ουσίες του. Πρωταρχικά προστατεύει έναντι της υπεροξείδωσης των λιπών, κατά την οποία σχηματίζονται μόρια ασταθή που περιέχουν περισσότερο οξυγόνο απ’ αυτό που χρειάζονται. Η βιταμίνη C είναι η πλέον άφθονη υδατοδιαλυτή βιταμίνη του οργανισμού. Δρα πρωταρχικά στο κυτταρόπλασμα των κυττάρων (κυρίως ειδική για τις ελεύθερες ρίζες που προέρχονται από το κάπνισμα). Βοηθά επίσης στην επαναφορά της βιταμίνης Ε στη δραστική της μορφή.

Διεξάγουμε συνεχώς ένα πόλεμο μέσα στον οργανισμό μας εναντίον του Νο 1 εχθρού της υγείας που είναι οι οξειδωτικές ουσίες και κυρίως οι ελεύθερες ρίζες. Κάθε ανθρώπινο κύτταρο αντιμετωπίζει ένα τεράστιο αριθμό επιθέσεων ανά ημέρα από ελεύθερες ρίζες. Γι΄ αυτό τα προληπτικά μέτρα είναι να μαχόμεθα αυτές τις ρίζες πριν μας βλάψουν. How Heavy Metals Harm

Some of them such cobalt, copper, manganese are required in small amounts but generally accumulation of Heavy Metals as a whole can lead to a number of serious illnesses because of their extremely toxic effects. It’s not exactly like that of course. There are indeed sources which are extremely dangerous. As for the sideffects there are much more and can vary. Heavy metals have a very low dissolve rate. All the above are a reality. A reality which can be dealt with according to our knowledge. Of course it’s not always up to us.

Therefore we have inside our mouth two spots with different tensions. Different tensions means exchanging electrons. This happens through our saliva which is a conductive substance. Exchanging electrons means the creation of a small current. We essentially have a battery in our mouth and of course a leak!

In cases which there is only one feeling or all the feelings are of the same quality and company, there is still danger since something metallic enters our mouth (spoons, forks etc) because the same results occur.

A leak can also take place while a breach is created due to chewing or the wrong shift of a tooth towards the feeling (eg a wisdom-tooth).

7. There is a plethora of herbs, homeopathic medicine and others (generally known as heavy metal chelators) which help in the detoxication of heavy metals such as selenium, B vitamins, Zinc etc.

Μερικά από αυτά όπως το κοβάλτιο, χαλκός, μαγγάνιο, χρειάζονται σε μικρές ποσότητες αλλά γενικά η συσσώρευση βαρέων μετάλλων μπορεί να οδηγήσει λόγω της εξαιρετικής τους τοξικότητας σε πολυάριθμες σοβαρές παθήσεις. Υπάρχουν αρκετά βαρέα μέταλλα που δεν έχουν καμία γνωστή θετική επίδραση στον οργανισμό μας όπως ο υδράργυρος, ο μόλυβδο, το αλουμίνιο, το κάδμιο, το αρσενικό κλπ.

Οι πηγές τους είναι εκατοντάδες και αν κανείς τις δει αναλυτικά μπορεί να θεωρήσει ότι δεν μπορεί να αγγίζει ή να τρώει σχεδόν τίποτα!

Δεν είναι βέβαια ακριβώς έτσι. Υπάρχουν πράγματι πηγές που είναι εξαιρετικά βλαβερές όπως τα μαύρα από αμάλγαμα σφραγίσματα στα δόντια μας (περιέχουν υδράργυρο), οι μπαταρίες (περιέχουν υδράργυρο εννοείται κατά τη διαρροή), διάφορα εντομοκτόνα (περιέχουν υδράργυρο), ο καπνός (περιέχει νικέλιο, αλουμίνιο), ειδικά είδη ψαριών του ατλαντικού όπως ο ξιφίας και ο τόνος (μπορεί να περιέχουν υδράργυρο), τα αντισυλληπτικά χάπια (ανεβάζουν τα επίπεδα χαλκού), τα μολύβια (περιέχουν μόλυβδο), το πλαστικό (σακούλες κλπ), το επεξεργασμένο φαγητό που μπορεί να περιέχει καθένα από τα παραπάνω, διαφόρων ειδών οδοντόπαστες ή καλλυντικά ακόμη και ο αέρας που αναπνέουμε λόγω της μόλυνσης. Ανάλογα βέβαια με το μέρος στο οποίο ζούμε.

Όσο για τις παρενέργειες είναι πολύ περισσότερες και μπορεί να ποικίλλουν. Πολύ λίγες από αυτές είναι: Πονοκέφαλος, αλλεργίες, δυσλεξία, κατάθλιψη, τύφλωση, υποθυρεοειδισμός, χρόνια κόπωση, απώλεια μνήμης, μουδιάσματα, δυσλειτουργία στο συκώτι, σχιζοφρένεια, επικύνδινη απώλεια βάρους, θυμός, καρκίνος, δυσκοιλιότητα, ηπατίτιδα, Πάρκινσον, ανοσοκαταστολή, απώλεια ισορροπίας, ψύχωση, αποσύνθεση μυϊκού ιστού, πρόωρο γήρας, ναυτία, μείωση της σεξουαλικής δραστηριότητας, δυσλειτουργία στην πέψη, ανορεξία, υψηλή χοληστερόλη, ζημιά σε νευρικα κύτταρα, ζάλη, μυοπάθεια, Σκλήρυνση Κατά Πλάκας, διαβήτης, αυτισμός, υπερκινητικότητα, ημικρανίες, πίεση, εγκεφαλικό, πόνος στα κόκαλα, αρθρίτιδα… έως και ξαφνικό θάνατο!

Τα βαρέα μέταλλα έχουν πολύ μικρό βαθμό διαλυτότητας.

Τα παραπάνω είναι μια πραγματικότητα. Έχοντας τη σωστή αντιμετώπιση όμως μπορούμε να την αντιμετωπίσουμε στο μέτρο πάντα που μας αναλογεί. Είναι από εξαιρετικά σπάνιο έως απίθανο κάποιος να μην έχει προσβληθεί περισσότερο ή λιγότερο από κάποιο τέτοιου είδους μέταλλο. Το πιο διαδεδομένο είναι ο υδράργυρος(διαρροή από τα σφραγίσματα στα δόντια) όμως υπάρχουν και πιο εξειδικευμένες περιπτώσεις τοξικών αντιδράσεων στο νικέλιο (ακόμα και στα νομίσματα).

ΜΕΤΡΑ ΠΡΟΣΤΑΣΙΑΣ

1. Αφαιρέστε το συντομότερο τα μαύρα σφραγίσματα από τα δόντια. Αν ο γιατρός σας τα χρησιμοποιεί ακόμα αλάξτε οδοντίατρο. Να είστε σίγουροι κατά την αφαίρεση ότι χρησιμοποιείται απορροφητήρας και απομονωτήρας ενώ καλό είναι να υποστηρίξετε το ιατρείο που διαθέτει σύγχρονο εξοπλισμό αποβολής των τοξικών ουσιών. Προσοχή!!! Είναι ΛΑΘΟΣ ότι κατά τη διάρκεια που είναι στο στόμα μας τα σφραγίσματα δεν είναι επικύνδινα επειδή δεν υπάρχει διαρροή!!!

Όσοι ισχυρίζονται κάτι τέτοιο, ακόμα και γιατροί, ΔΕΝ ΓΝΩΡΙΖΟΥΝ!

Σε περίπτωση που υπάρχουν πολλά τέτοια σφραγίσματα (πάνω από ένα) τότε επειδή αυτά είναι συνήθως διαφορετικής περιεκτικότητας στο μέταλλο δημιουργούνται μέσα στο στόμα δυο σημεία με διαφορετικό δυναμικό. Διαφορετικό δυναμικό σημαίνει εξίσωσή του μέσω κίνησης φορτίων. Αυτό επιτυγχάνεται μέσω του σάλιου, που είναι αγώγιμο υλικό. Δημιουργείται λοιπόν ροή φορτίου άρα και μικρό ρεύμα. Έχουμε ουσιαστικά μια μπαταρία στο στόμα(!!!) και αποδεδειγμένα διαρροή λόγω της μετακίνησης των φορτίων.

Σε περίπτωση που υπάρχει ένα σφράγισμα υπάρχει κίνδυνος αφού κάτι μεταλλικό στο στόμα (όπως πιρούνι, κουτάλι κλπ) δημιουργεί τα ίδια αποτελέσματα.

Διαρροή μπορεί να υπάρξει και κατά τη δημιουργία ρήγματος λόγω της μάσησης ή της λάθος μετακίνησης κάποιου δοντιού προς τα συγκεκριμένα σημεία (πχ κάποιου φρονιμήτη).

2. Eπιδιώξτε την κατάλληλη εξέταση των επιπέδων των μετάλλων αυτών από ειδικό και όχι από κάποιον που δεν γνωρίζει πως θα ψάξει και σας συμβουλεύει “να μην είστε υπερβολικοί”.

3. Αποφύγετε τις λάθος τροφές (ψάρια ατλαντικού όπως ο ξιφίας, ο τόνος) τις κακές συνήθειες όπως το κάπνισμα.

4. Ανακυκλώστε προϊόντα που είναι ιδιαίτερα τοξικά και για το περιβάλλον (όπως οι μπαταρίες) – μην έρχεστε σε επαφή.

5. Δείτε προσεκτικά τι αγοράζετε. Προτιμάτε καλλυντικά, σαμπουάν, αρώματα, οδοντόπαστες από φαρμακεία και μαγαζιά με υγιεινά προϊόντα.

6. Υπαρχει πληθώρα βοτάνων, ομοιοπαθητικών και γενικότερα ουσιών που βοηθούν στην αποτοξίνωση από βαριά μέταλλα όπως το σελήνιο, η σειρά βιταμινών Β και πολλά άλλα.
